I recently purchased four of these pans for a Hawaiian theme party for 170 people. The pans are absolutely stunning! Prior to receiving the pans, I tried four different recipes for cakes with pineapple and/or coconut; I wasn't really happy with any of them. When the pans arrived, lo and behold they came with a recipe!!! The recipe was simple and baked beautifully (note that the recipe that comes with the pan makes about 10 cups of batter; the pan should not be flled with more than 8 cups or it overflows). Even with the tremendous detail in this pan, the cakes released nicely (I baked 20 cakes). I found that the best way to clean these pans was to take them outside and hose them down (after they had cooled). A little bit of water pressure was all that was required to get them perfectly clean.
